When we run a new project iOSApp1 in VS2022 Community 'attach to Process' appears, what is this?

We simply created a new project (iOS Application) for Visual Basic and we would like some help to understand how to proceed with this.

You can use the Attach to Process dialog to attach the Visual Studio debugger to a running process on a device or simulator.

Thanks, we had a look at the documentation...........

C#, Visual Basic, or C++ app - Debug on the local machine	Use either standard debugging (F5) or Attach to Process	{appname}.exe	In most scenarios, use standard debugging and not Attach to Process.

But standard debugging (F5) does nothing, and project name iOSApp1 does not appear in Attach to Process window. Please advise.

Hello, please run your Visual Studio as administrator.

Have you checked "Show processes for all users" checkbox? Have you tried to click Refresh button?

We have run as Administrator and clicked checkbox processes for all users but iOSApp1 is not on the Attach to Process list. Please advise.

Hello, please check if your iOS application is targeting the correct platform (iOS Simulator or device).
