Some time ago I started the Bitlocker encryption, but it not succeed, but stucks at 76,2% on the C: drive. As I wanted to reset the Computer it does not work because of that. Reseting the TPM havn`t helped either. What can I do to either reset the PC adequatly or to stop the encryption? Thanks for your suggestions

Firstly, look into the Event Viewer and look for log files and see if you find any error which might be related to this problem?
Thanks, unfortunally I found some errors there but I dont get any hint if they are related to the Bitlocker problem. Sources are: App-Modell-Runtime, Kernel-Event-Tracking, Service-Control Manager, DistributedCOM, Client-Licensing. May one of these be specific for the problem? Thanks so much for your help as I have no clue.
An error "Sharing violation on [C:\Windows\System32\config\SOFTWARE" came up more often. Maybe it is that?

If anyone is reading this and none of the other suggestions work, I accidentally found a workaround to unfreeze BitLocker. If you run chkdsk it should ask you if you want to unmount the drive, if you press "yes" that should unfreeze the BitLocker encryption/description process.

Better late than never, I hope. I had exactly the same problem, which occurred because I resized the partition during Bitlocker decryption. I was also unable to resume decryption after successfully pausing using manage-bde.
The solution I found was to resize the partition back to what it was before I made the change using disk manager, and then to resume decryption using manage-bde -resume. It worked! Hopefully it will work for you too.

Hi There!
To stop or pause the bitlocker encryption, from an elevated (Run as administrator) powershell or command prompt window, you can use the manage-bde tool.
To get the current status of the drive and the encryption, the command would be manage-bde -status <drive letter>.
Example: manage-bde -status c:
To pause the encryption you can use the command of manage-bde -pause <drive letter>.
To resume the encryption you can use the command of manage-bde -resume <drive letter>.
To turn off bitlocker encryption you can use the command of manage-bde -off <drive letter>.

Thank you, the pause command works, but the following ones give the error code (Code 0x803100d6).
I have also tried the sfc/scannow command, to search for demaged files which may provide complications, but nothing has been found.
Have you tried to alter the boot structure at all while the device was encrypting? IE, changing the main boot drive, adding a partition, etc?
If not, I would try to start the encryption again, let it go to 100% if possible, then decrypt it.
