why did my laptop not work after I downloaded windows 10 on it?

My laptop contained microsoft professional XP windows and I tried to download microsoft windows 10 on it.After it was processed and the laptop asked me to restart it. I pressed it and after that my screen did not open and the computer had stopped working. I also pressed the onn button several times after that but my laptop did not open.

Its possible the hardware is too old. Might check the pc manufacturer's site for more info and ask for more help in dedicated forums located here.

Hi @Tahreem-6678,

You could create a Windows 10 installation media here.

Then install an operating system from the media. You could also verify that you have downloaded the latest drivers from the manufacturer's site.
