I have been encountering persistent issues while attempting to install the 2025-02 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 24H2 (KB5052093). The update consistently fails with the error code 0x80070005 (Access Denied), and despite trying various troubleshooting steps, the problem remains unresolved.

During the installation process, I receive an error message stating, "Something didn’t go as planned. No need to worry—undoing changes. Please keep your computer on." I suspect this is related to a permissions issue. To address this, I attempted to adjust the permissions within the SoftwareDistribution folder, but the issue persists.
