How do you customize the search highlights logo without having a padding around the image?

Hello,

My company is replacing our current custom image on the Search Highlights image (where the suitcase is for some people). This is also replacing the image on our search page and Sharepoint, so I'm assuming they're all connected, and that's fine. However, whenever we upload an image, the system autofits it inside of the oval space, and it leaves a padding around the logo. Our goal is to have this image take up the space of that oval.

How do we replace this image, keep the oval shape, and remove the padding around the image?
