Selected user account does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft Services' and cannot access the application '18fbca16-2224-45f6-85b0-f7bf2b39b3f3' in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Please use a different account.

    Hi Laleendra,

    You should be able to work around the issue by first Activating the sandbox (solving puzzles, reviewing/accept permissions, etc.) and then once you see the sign-in box appear on the right open a new browser tab. In this new tab, browse to https://shell.azure.com. If your existing sandbox hasn't expired you can use that instead of activating a new one.

    When prompted, click Bash (some exercises use PowerShell and Bash. You can switch between them using button at top of cloud shell window)

    Next choose No storage account required, for Subscription select Concierge Subscription, and click Apply.

    After several seconds delay while a cloud shell is requested and connected to, you should see $ prompt. At this point you can complete the exercises instructions, copy/paste code from exercise tab to cloud shell tab as needed, etc.

    Please click Accept Answer and upvote if the above was helpful.

    Thanks.

    @Laleendra Dharmasiri

    Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A community.

    It sounds like you're encountering a common issue when trying to access the Microsoft Learn Sandbox. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

    Log Out and Clear Cache: Log out of all tabs in your current browser and clear your cache. After doing this, try logging in again using your Learn ID credentials.

    Incognito/Private Browsing: If the issue persists, sign out of your current browser session and attempt to log in from an incognito window or private browsing mode. This can sometimes bypass any session-related issues.

    Different Browser: Try accessing the Learn Sandbox using a different web browser to see if that resolves the issue.

    Account Selection: If you have multiple accounts associated with your Microsoft services, ensure that you have selected the correct account before creating resources in the portal. The Azure portal typically defaults to the Default Directory, which may not have the necessary permissions.

    Account Type: You can sign up for Azure with a personal Outlook or Microsoft account, which may be easier to use and will not have all the restrictions associated with other email addresses.

    If these steps don't resolve the issue, you might need to create a new account or contact Microsoft support for further assistance. You can find more information here.

    I hope these helps. Let me know if you have any further questions or need additional assistance.
