Windows Server 2022 Taskbar Pinned Apps Not Opening Correctly

Hi

We are using Windows Server 2022, every time when user pins chrome, outlook, excel or any type of software shortcut on Taskbar, after opening application, always asking additional security warning window to open file, we tried method (Launching applications and unsafe files - From internet options) but we do not need to work like that, any solutions?

Based on the description, I understand your question is related to server 2022.

Try run the applications as an administrator, you may be able to bypass the additional security warning prompts when opening the pinned apps from the Taskbar.

1. Right-click on the shortcut of the application (e.g., Chrome, Outlook, Excel) on the Taskbar.
2. Select "Properties" from the context menu.
3. In the Properties window, go to the "Compatibility" tab.
4. Check the box next to "Run this program as an administrator."
5. Click on "Apply" and then "OK" to save the changes.

This not working

I need to add additional info

When we add new use on this server, it works and opens well, but when we imported profile disk from server 2019, only that users have problem on pinned shortcuts

We just found the reason, imported disks needed to unblock from properties
