I don't have a Windows XP machine now, however, the vshadow tool is for Windows Vista or later so this could be a limitation of Windows XP.

I find this version vshadow not like others vshadow on windows 2003 and higher version.
there is not a method to expose the snapshot like vshadow -el ?
how can I use this snapshot when I write an app reading the snapshot? thanks a lot.
