We bought a reconditioned server with server 2019. I know EOL was 1/2024, extended EOL is 1/2029.

Do we NEED to upgrade to 2022. It is being used at a very small company.

Thanks

J.R.

    Hello,

It is not necessary to upgrade from Server 2019 to 2022 if your current server is meeting your business needs and requirements. Server 2019 will continue to receive security updates until its end-of-life date in 2024, and extended support until 2029. However, it is recommended to keep your server up-to-date with the latest security patches and updates to ensure the best performance and protection against potential security threats. Ultimately, the decision to upgrade should be based on your specific business needs and requirements.
