I want to configure an antimalware policy for Android devices, can you give me all the steps to achieve this?

It is for personal devices, and Microsoft Defender is required to be installed on the Android device.

What would be the best practice?

@Jorge Luis Velasco teran, Thanks for posting in Q&A. For antivirus policy in Intune, currently, Android is not in the support list.

But you can protect your Android devices using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

Firstly, we can deploy Microsoft Defender for Endpoint app to Android devices via your managed Google Play Store app.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/defender-endpoint/android-intune#deploy-on-android-enterprise-enrolled-devices

Then you can configure web protection, Network protection, Privacy protection and etc to protect your Android devices.

In addition, here are some points for best practice for personal devices:

    • Regularly update Microsoft Defender to ensure you have the latest security features and definitions.
    • Enable real-time protection to continuously monitor for threats.
    • Use web protection to block malicious websites and phishing attempts.
    • Regularly scan your device for malware and other threats.
    • Educate users about safe browsing habits and the importance of keeping their devices secure.

Hope the above suggestions can help.
