Azure labs slow since end of 2024

Hi,
Some users are reporting a significant decrease in performance when using Azure labs.
Opening an MMC takes ages and frequently hangs. Restarts sometimes take +10 minutes.
Region is Northern Europe and we're using nested virtualisation (medium, 4 core| 16 GB RAM | 128GB Premium SSD).
Anyone else experiencing this?
I can't see any service health issues either ...

Since you’re using nested virtualization with a medium VM size (4 cores, 16 GB RAM, 128 GB Premium SSD), you must verify that this VM size supports nested virtualization and provides enough performance for the host and guest VMs. learn.microsoft.com Also, nested virtualization comes with a 5% performance penalty on tasks like opening an MMC or restarting VMs.
• Monitor on Going Issues: Make sure that you routinely check for issues in your region by looking in to Azure Service Health.
• VM Performance Requirements: Make sure the VM size is set properly for nested virtualization and meets the workload performance requirements.
• Performane Gains Alternatives: For stubborn performance issues, consider other options like Apporto Virtual Labs which perform better than Azure Lab Services.
