Hi Everyone,

I'm setting up a device and encountering the 0x800705b4 error. So far, I have:

Reset the device

Performed a clean install of Windows

Deleted and re-enrolled the device

The device has TPM 2.0 and is running Windows 11.

I'm not sure what else to try—any suggestions?

Thanks!

@Bikash Dulal Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For this issue, did this error code occur in autopilot enrollment? If possible, please show us the screenshot.

If it is autopilot enrollment, we appreciate your help to do some check:

1.Please refer to the following link to check if there is any policy breaking the enrollment.

    https://call4cloud.nl/the-0x800705b4-error-in-our-stars/

Note: Non-Microsoft link, just for the reference.

2.Please show us the screen shot about the ESP profile you configured in intune portal. If you configure to install apps during ESP status, it is needed to enter a higher value in the setting "Show an error when installation takes longer than specified number of minutes".

If there is anything update, feel free to let us know.

That error code reminds me on situation, where you still have device account in Entra ID. I know you need to delete device hash as well, but try to clean device data entirely first, re-add device hash as new and try again with new installation. This error code also have something to do with TPM, so maybe do the TPM clean via BIOS before re-installing the Windows on it.
