I am using 50 devices and want to show them on dashboard with LKV pane. I can list up 50 devices but if I add more than 25 devices, it only can show device ID rather than device name I renamed in manage device menu.

It seems like you're encountering a limitation with the LKV pane on your IoT Central dashboard. This might be due to a restriction in the current design of the LKV pane. You can create a custom dashboard and use different tiles to display device information. Create and manage Azure IoT Central dashboards - Azure IoT Central | Microsoft Learn.
Could you please share the screenshot of the IOT Central Dashboard and more little details for better understanding of the issue?

If I create a dashboard with LKV and put more than 25 devices, device name is not showing properly and it just give device ID instead like attached.

Hi @Casey Park we notice a similar behavior in our testing. The limitation you are experiencing with displaying device ID's instead of device names when adding more than 25 devices to the Last Known Values (LKV) pane in Azure IoT Central is likely due to a UI constraint. Even though the documentation does not explicitly mention a specific limit for the number of devices in the LKV pane, this might be kept in place to ensure performance and readability.
That being said, the IoT Central portal allows you to set a Device Id, probably with the same value as device name, during the device creation. Please also note that, while you can change the device name after device creation, you cannot change the device Id.
