I have a working old scanner Mustek 2448TA Pro and a computer with Windows 10 Home running.
On the official Mustek site there are no new drivers for my scanner and they recommend using Hyper-V for making a virtual machine Windows XP.
Hyper-V works only with Windows 10 Pro. I don't need Windows 10 Pro for any other purposes.
Can I use a universal product key to install Windows 10 Pro and make a virtual machine for a few days only for inslallation the old drivers for my scanner? Will my scanner work after this period if I won't buy a key for Windows 10 Pro?
