Good morning. I have a problem training a custom model using Document Intelligence.

For example, I need to select the city, but it's split between two paragraphs. If I draw a region over "Buenos" only, it only allows me to select another label and not as part of the same label so that the city is "Buenos Aires". Is there any way to solve this issue? Thank you.

    Hi Franklin Rony Cortez

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Forum, thank you for posting your query here!

When labelling text that's split across two paragraphs, using the region labeling feature to select larger spans of text can be really effective. This way, you can label both parts of the city name "Buenos Aires" as a single entity. Instead of selecting "Buenos" and then "Aires" separately, you can draw a region that includes both words, even if they're in different paragraphs.

If the region labelling tool doesn't let you select both words together, make sure you're using the latest version of the labelling tool, which supports overlapping fields. You might need to adjust your approach to ensure that the entire phrase is captured in one selection. Please use single clicks to select "Bunes" and "Aeres" words and use a single field named to "city" to acquire the data.

    Thank You.
