how can i pin my sorted resource group overview to the left menu or dashboard

Question

How can I pin a resource group view, which i have sorted and grouped, such that I can access that view again without having to organize it each time. I don't care if it's a bookmark url, a pinned item in the portal or even if it's on the dashboard. I just do not want to have to sort my items 10 times a day.

Pinning to dashboard does not respect any of changes i made to the order or grouping or columns.

Also, why is asking a question here so difficult -> finding an obligatory tag was next to impossible for the tag field.

Go to the resource group pin to dashboard

Click on shared and pin

If you don't have existing dashboard create one and follow above process.

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform!. Follow the steps below to be able to Pin a resource group on Azure.

1. Create a dashboard:

• Sign in to the Azure portal
• From the Azure portal menu, select Dashboard. Your default view might already be set to the dashboard.
• Select Create
• Save.

2. Add the resource group you want to pin to the dashboard.

• Navigate to the resource page in the Azure portal
• locate the "Pin to dashboard" option (usually represented by a pin icon)
• please select it

3. Click on Pin to dashboard.

4. Go to your dashboard, and you will see the pinned resource group.

Note: Unfortunately, the Azure Portal does not currently support pinning a custom resource group view (including sorting, grouping, and column selections) in a way that persists when pinned to the dashboard or as a shortcut. However, here is a workaround:
