Hello,

I am looking to Remediate risky OAuth apps via Microsoft Defender. I am trying to follow this help article https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/defender-cloud-apps/app-permission-policy but I do not have the same dropdown selection options as what is listed there.

At the end of the day, I need to create a policy that automatically remediate risky OAuth apps, is that something I can do with Microsoft Intune?

I have a Microsoft Business Premium license.

Any help would be great!

@NDS 082206 Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

My answer is NO. There is no method to make it via intune. For this issue, it is suggested to contact Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps support to get more help. Here is the support link:

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Hi @NDS 082206

Thank you for posting this in Microsoft Q&A.

I understand that you are unable to find OAuth Apps in the Microsoft Defender Cloud dropdown.

The document you followed refers to the OAuth apps page, which is used when you don't have app governance turned on.

Can you please check if you are using preview features and have app governance turned on?

If you are using preview features and have app governance turned on, the same functionality is available from the App governance page instead.

To check Microsoft Defender XDR preview features, please follow the steps mentioned in the document: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/defender-xdr/preview

To check the app governance status, you can follow the steps mentioned in the document https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/defender-cloud-apps/app-governance-get-started

You can be able to create policy that automatically remediate risky OAuth apps from OAuth page or App governance page.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.

    Thanks,

    Navya.
