New computer hasn't synced 100% of my OneDrive files from my old computer, or all of my Outlook emails

My new HP laptop hasn't synced 100% of my OneDrive files from my old HP laptop, or all of my Outlook emails either. It's as if my old laptop only backed up some files onto OneDrive - not all of them - and some emails on Outlook - not all of them.

Your setup is not clear. Did you backup to one drive, or only sync one drive? If you sync’d do a manual sync on the old computer.

for emails, probably you stored some locally, rather than on the email server. If you still have the old pc, map the local folder to one drive, and do same on new pc. You can also move the local messages to folder on the email server. If the the local folder was backed up and restored on the new computer, you just need to map.

It sounds like you may be experiencing issues with syncing your OneDrive files and Outlook emails between your old and new computers. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot these issues:

    1. OneDrive Sync Issues: If your OneDrive files are not syncing completely, ensure that you have the OneDrive app installed and running on your new laptop. You can check the sync status by clicking the OneDrive icon in the taskbar. If files are still showing as "syncing," you may need to troubleshoot the sync process. You can also try dragging and dropping files from your old OneDrive folder to the new one if both accounts are synced to your device.
    2. Outlook Email Migration: For your Outlook emails, ensure that you have correctly imported your old emails into your new account. You can export your old emails to a .pst file and then import them into your new Outlook setup. Follow the steps to export and import emails as outlined in the Microsoft documentation.

If you continue to experience problems, you may want to clear cached files or stop and resync your libraries in OneDrive to resolve any lingering sync issues.
