Can we customize azure monitoring alert notification with Dynamic content?

Hi Team

I'm working on creating an alert monitoring system based on Metric, application insight and log analytics based alerts. I managed to configure the alerts but I would like to change the subject of the email dynamically to include some of the parameters I see in log analytics. Do you know if

It seems Azure Logic Apps doesn’t have a built-in "When an alert is triggered" trigger specifically for Azure Monitor alerts directly. Instead, we can use a Webhook in the Azure Monitor alert action group to send the alert data to the Logic App. Here’s how to set it up as an alternative:

Step 1: Create an Action Group with a Webhook Action

Go to Azure Monitor in the Azure Portal.

Select Alerts from the sidebar, then go to Manage actions > Action groups.

Click + Create to set up a new action group for your alert notification.

Fill in the details like Action group name, Subscription, and Resource group.

Under Actions:

Add a new Action and set the Action type to Webhook.

Enter the Webhook URL, which will be the URL endpoint for your Logic App. (We’ll get this in the next step after creating the Logic App).

Click Review + create to save your action group.

Step 2: Create the Logic App and Configure the Webhook Trigger

In the Azure Portal, navigate to Logic Apps and create a new Logic App.

Open the Logic App Designer and select Blank Logic App.

Search for the When an HTTP request is received trigger:

Select this trigger to receive webhook notifications.

Logic Apps will generate a unique HTTP POST URL for the Logic App. Copy this URL, as you’ll use it in your action group’s webhook.

Click Save in the Logic App Designer to finalize the trigger.

Step 3: Set Up the Webhook URL in the Action Group

Return to Azure Monitor > Action groups.

Edit the action group you created, locate the Webhook URL field in the Webhook action, and paste the URL from the Logic App’s When an HTTP request is received trigger.

Click Save to update the action group.

Step 4: Parse JSON in the Logic App

In the Logic App Designer, after the When an HTTP request is received trigger, click + New step.

Search for Parse JSON and select it.

Set the Content field to the Body of the HTTP request from the trigger step.

Define the Schema:

Click Generate from sample and paste a sample payload (you can trigger a test alert in Azure Monitor to see the structure).

Click Done to save the schema.

Step 5: Customize the Email Subject and Body

Add an Email step (e.g., Office 365 Outlook or SendGrid) to send the alert.

In the Subject field, use Dynamic Content from the parsed JSON, such as: css Copy code Alert: {{resourceName}} - High {{metricName}} detected

Add additional information in the Body field as needed.

Step 6: Save and Test the Logic App

Save your Logic App.

Trigger a test alert in Azure Monitor to verify the webhook connection.

Check the email to confirm the subject and body reflect the dynamic fields.

Thanks for your sharing your valuable input but i am following up URL https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/alerts/alerts-logic-apps?tabs=send-email for creating the alert but getting error at "read a resource" refer the attached Screenshot (1).png

It would be great if you can please suggest us how to achieve this goal?
