Hello @a Gururaj Mysore Thank you for reaching out to us on Microsoft Q&A platform. Happy to help!
I understand that you are trying to change the backup policy from enhanced to standard. If you have configured an enhanced backup policy for your server, you cannot change it to a standard backup policy. This is because enhanced backup policies provide additional features and functionality that are not available in standard backup policies.
However, you can create a new standard backup policy and apply it to your server. To do this, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Backup Center in the Azure portal.
- Select the server for which you want to create a new backup policy.
- Click on the Backup policies tab.
- Click on the + Add button to create a new backup policy.
- Select the Standard backup policy type.
- Configure the backup policy settings as per your requirement.
- Click on the Create button to create the new backup policy.
- Once the new backup policy is created, you can apply it to your server by selecting the server and clicking on the Backup button.
- In the Backup pane, select the new backup policy from the Backup policy drop-down list.
- Click on the Enable backup button to apply the new backup policy to your server.
