Question

We are extracting data from ServiceNow tool and loading into the database via the ADF pipeline and since 3rd Jun, this error has been coming and pipeline fails.
If we copy the content of the said file into a new .xlsx file with same name and load it it works fine.

Error message -

Thank you for posting query in Microsoft Q&A Platform.

From the error message, it seems you are trying to process file which is password protected. Please note, password protected files we cannot directly open from ADF and move data from there. Hence you are seeing this error. If you are copying directly file as it is in the same format. That means ADF no need to open the file to process it. It can directly copy. Hence in that case you don't see error.

Kindly consider removing password protection before processing data in ADF pipeline.
