I currently have a Windows 10 Pro on my desktop pc and I want to use the free upgrade to Windows 11, but I do not want the Windows 11 home edition I need the Windows 11 pro due to work-related stuff. If I update to 11 will the system automatically upgrade me to the Windows 11 home edition? or the Windows 11 pro edition?
Is there a way to do this manually in order to ensure no mistakes are made?

but how do you get it to upgrade?
Hi Samara,
Upgrading from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro involves a fairly straightforward process. Here are the general steps to follow:

Remember that upgrading your operating system carries some risk, and it's always recommended to back up your important data before proceeding. Additionally, the availability of Windows 11 upgrades might vary depending on the official release schedule and regional availability.
Please update with your findings.
Thanks!
