Hello everyone.

I am currently stuck after accidentally activating the "Enable Always-on soft delete" box on my vault, and I cannot uncheck it, delete the vault, or delete the resource where the vault is located. I followed the microsoft documentation for the soft delete option deactivation (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-en/azure/backup/backup-azure-security-feature-cloud?WT.mc_id=Portal-Microsoft_Azure_Support#disabling-soft-delete-using-azure-portal) but the result of the command gives me a "bad request"User's image

I also tried the script for removing the vault but could not make it work, there are "bad request" errors when changing parameter for soft delete.User's image

Anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?

Thank you in advance

@Thomas STEFANI Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A, apologize for any inconvenience caused on this.

Unfortunately, when you are enabling Always-on soft delete on your recovery service vault it is clearly called out that you cannot be disabled as shown below and in documentation here as well.

If you want to disable the below soft delete settings that is enabled on the cloud and hybrid workloads, you can refer to this documentation.
