Outlook not respect DelegateWastebasketStyle

I have a user running Office 365, with a delegate mailbox configured. The user would like to implement the DelegateWasteBasketStyle registry key/GPO, but it seems as if the only circumstances under which that's being respected is a clean install of Windows where they have never logged in. I've verified they have delegate permissions to the mailbox they're attempting to use, and we've uninstalled and reinstalled Office a couple times. We've tried a fresh Windows profile, as well.

It seems like something is getting stuck in the registry at first login (or somewhere between first login and now, that causes Outlook to stop respecting whether DelegateWasteBasketStyle is set. Any ideas where to start here?

    Hi @Tom Sittler ,

Did you modify the registry key successfully? If yes, the corrupted profile could be the cause of the problem, try to remove the old profile create a new profile to see if the issue continues: Go to Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles > Add, re-connect your account.

Besides, it is recommended you perform a clean boot: How to perform a clean boot in Windows
