I am an employer. How do I verify an Azure certificate of a new hire?

Hello,

I am an employer trying to verify a certificate for Azure Fundamentals that was recently provided to us by a new hire. I see other forums referring to verifications being conducted via private message, however I do not see an option to initiate one.

Could you please assist?

Hi,

There are multiple ways. For example, the person can go to their Learn profile --> Transcript tab and there is a button to create a link to share their transcript. They would send this link to you and when you clicked it you would see the person's transcript with certification(s) right here on learn.microsoft.com so you know it is legitimate.

Another way is to post a question on the Microsoft Certification forum:

Still another way would be to look at the person's Credly profile which should have the certification and exam badge(s).

Hi,

Every person who has been certified by Microsoft can access their certificates online. There's a certificate sharing/verification site called credly. You could ask them to share a credly link to their cert which they can do from their MS learning account by clicking the share button next to their cert. See below.

From the same location, they can print their certificate as a PDF and attach that to email/Signal etc and send it to you.
