I want to know how to update Office 2016 manually.

Question

I'm using Windows 10 Professional and Microsoft Office Professional Plass 2016. However, the PC cannot be connected to the network due to circumstances.

I use another PC and sometimes download and apply the following updates from Microsoft Update Catalog. (https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/)

• Update for Microsoft Office 2016
• Security Update for Microsoft Office 2016

As a first question, do these include all past updates?
In other words, is it a cumulative update?

If it's a cumulative update, I think applying these will basically be the latest version.
However, the downloaded file name does not say "cumulative update" as in Windows.
In addition, I think that there is a possibility that there is a difference because I could not find information that these are cumulative updates even if I searched the Web.
(This is the result I overlooked and I'm very happy if there is any information somewhere, it will tell me that.)

If it doesn't include past updates, I'd like to know how to update all updates, including those in the past.
For example, to understand updates that have not yet been applied, how to list updates that have been applied to Office so far.

Again, this PC cannot be connected to the network. This is true not only for the Internet, but also for closed networks.
All I can do is bring files from another PC via storage media such as flash memory.

I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me how to solve this problem.

Yes, these updates are cumulative update.
Volume licensed versions of Office 2016 and Office 2013 use MSI installation technology. Here is a link which describes updates for these versions Office.
Types of software updates for Office
For the secuirty updates, such as the "KB5002056" (The security update for Excel 2016 released on November 9, 2021), there would be a "Security update replacement information" mentioned on the link, it shows this update replaces previously released security update 5002030.

So, you can install the latest updates for those Office.

To get the updates for these versions, please checkout this article "Latest updates for versions of Office that use Windows Installer (MSI)".
You could dowanload the latetest updates.

More than half a month ago, I was still able to update the Microsft Office Professional Plus 2016 version on windows 10, but now I can't anymore. According to Microsoft's announcement, until October 14, 2015, the update support will expire. Why have you stopped updating now?
