According to the dashboard, my E5 Developer version is in normal status, and the renewal has been working fine since deployment. The deployed application is a website using OneDrive and serverless services. However, since late February 2025, all OneDrive accounts in the organization have suddenly been suspended without any notice (gradually, not all at once), while other Microsoft 365 apps are still in normal status. I was told that I had violated the compliance via the support team, while I was also told that I would not been allowed any further appeals or data recovery. Since the deployment, I have strictly adhered to the terms and conditions, but Microsoft’s unilateral action has left me shocked.
It is doubted that how exactly did I violate the compliance, and which specific regulation was breached? Since the deployment, I have been using the service in a such method , and Microsoft has been renewing my organization’s subscription normally. How is it that my website suddenly violated the compliance and was suspended without any justification? In addition, according to the terms and conditions for the Microsoft 365 E5 Developer Program, I have not violated any regulations. Meanwhile, according to some available cases, if there were indeed a compliance violation, the entire organization would be suspended all at once, not just OneDrive being suspended gradually. I regret about Microsoft’s unjustified suspension of the service.
The support team suggested that I try here. I certainly hope the relevant personnel can provide a reasonable solution. After all, if Microsoft no longer wants me to continue using the service, at the very least, I should have the access to save my data, and I should not be treated in such a rude and brutal manner. I will download and save my data within the specified time according to the terms and conditions, and then shut down the entire organization and the Program.
