    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

This event is logged when Generic application could not be brought online during an attempt to start the service.

You can refer to the steps in the following link for details:

    Best regards

    Thanks your help!
We find the domain user password for starting the service is incorrect. After changing the password, there was no error message for event id 1041. However, the application resources cannot be seen in the failover cluster manager. Because we haven't seen the application resources in the failover cluster manager before, we don't know if they have been lost or if they have never been there before. We didn't see the corresponding record in the log. Is there any way to know if it's lost or has never been there?

    Hi Zunhui,

    Thanks your help!

At present, the application is functional and failover cluster manager does not have a cluster role. The application engineer said there needs to be a role, but we cannot determine when and how the cluster role was lost. Do you have any methods can provide to us? Thanks!
