    Hello weaver boiff,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

When handling duplicate files in a Windows application, particularly for a game, it is crucial to exercise caution. Deleting an incorrect file could lead to the game malfunctioning. Here are several steps to verify if it is safe to remove the duplicate file:

    1. Compare the details of the duplicate files, such as their size, date modified, and location. This can help you identify if one is an older version or a backup.
    2. Look up the file name online to see if it's a known issue or if others have safely deleted it.
    3. Before deleting, make a backup of the file. This way, you can restore it if the game encounters any issues.
    4. Visit the game's official forums or support page to see if other users have reported similar issues and what solutions were recommended.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Daisy Zhou
