Welcome to our forum!
The appearance of the New Outlook client is more simplified. Shared mailboxes are collapsed in the Shared with me folder. You need to expand it to see your shared folders. It's by design.
By the way, Outlook actually has an official feedback portal where customers can send feature requests or suggestions to the product team. If you have any suggestions or ideas, we recommend that you post them here. Hopefully, Microsoft will take notice of this in the future.
