After windows 10 update laptop not showing wifi network

Question

After updating my laptop recently it will not show my own wifi network to be connected too. I have tried adding a 2.4 GhZ network and it did not show that way either.
There was never an issue connecting to previous wifi networks before these updates.

Drivers all say they are up to date.

Why can I only currently connect to my phones wifi hotspot? Why can my laptop no longer connect to wifi networks?

What's the KB number you installed?

Here are some steps you can try:

1. Reset network. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings>Network reset.
2. Try to use cmd .

      netsh int ip reset
      netsh winsock reset
      ipconfig /flushdns
      ipconfig /release
      ipconfig /renew
