How to stop repeated lsass.exe terminations from unscheduled, unsolicited, uncancellable snap reboots?

My use has been interrupted repeatedly by Event ID: 1074 with the unhelpful comment: "The system process 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe' terminated unexpectedly with status code -1073740791. The system will now shut down and restart." This has begun to happen multiple times per day! The KB patches that were identified as responsible for this issue in Windows Server are not listed among my installed Windows Updates. How to do I put a stop to this? Assume my drivers are confirmed up to date and that I've already performed thorough SFC and PC Health scans.

    Hello.

Did you make any changes before this issue occurred?

Lsass.exe is a critical process in Windows that is responsible for the local security rights subsystem service. If there is a problem with this process, it may cause the system to reboot, hence the event 1074.

Perform a clean boot: disable all non-Microsoft startup items and services and exclude third-party software.

Check Hardware: Check the health status of memory and hard discs to ensure that there are no hardware failures.

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian
