Hello,
1、Check Event Viewer Logs
Open Event Viewer on the host machine:
Press Win + R, type eventvwr.msc, and press Enter.
Navigate to Windows Logs > System and Windows Logs > Application.
Look for errors or warnings related to Hyper-V or the VM.
2、Ensure Network Connectivity:
Verify that the VM is connected to the correct virtual switch in Hyper-V Manager.
Open Hyper-V Manager, select the VM, and check the Network Adapter settings.
Test Network Connection:
Log in to the VM (if possible) and check the IP address using ipconfig.
Ping the host machine or another device on the network to test connectivity.
Reconfigure Virtual Switch:
If the VM is not getting an IP address, reconfigure the virtual switch:
Open Hyper-V Manager.
Go to Virtual Switch Manager.
Ensure the virtual switch is set to External or Internal (depending on your setup).
3、Ensure both the host machine and VM are running the latest updates:
On the host machine:
Open Settings > Windows Update and install any pending updates.
On the VM:
Log in (if possible) and check for updates.
Best Regards,
Hania Lian
