I recently decided to install WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) on my laptop. To do this, I enabled the "Windows Subsystem for Linux" and "Virtual Machine Platform" features in Windows. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Could this be related to BIOS/UEFI settings, power configurations, or something else? I would appreciate any insights or troubleshooting steps to resolve this problem.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Press the Windows Key + R to bring up the Run dialog, type powercfg.cpl and hit Enter. The Power Options window should appear. Click on “Choose what the power buttons do” from the column on the left. Click the “Change settings that are currently unavailable” option. Under the “Shutdown settings” section, uncheck the box for "Turn on fast startup" See if the issue resolves.

I hope the information above is helpful.

    Best regards
