how to use pin for remote desktop or not us password

i got a new pc with pro and et it up like my pc im using now. it backed up and is using the same email. i am trying to use remote desktop and its asking for a password and i use the password thats assciated with my microsoft email and it doesnt work and i try the passwords i would use if i set one up but still no luck. idk what to do and i dont think i even set up a password. if there is any way to check the password(ive tried many methods but no luck) or use a pin or even disable it please let me know

    Hello,

    Since this is a new PC, you may first try running the runas command as suggested in the Microsoft Community thread Remote desktop not working with microsoft account - Microsoft Community

    After that, disable the Windows Hello PIN for your Microsoft account and then attempt to log in.

    Alternatively, you can create a local account on Windows Pro, add this local account to the Remote Desktop Users group, and then connect using this local account.
