    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

Based on the description, I understand your question is related to USB hard drive.

    1. Open Disk Management, see if your USB drive appears there. If it does, note its status and any error messages.
    2. Open Device Manager. Find your USB drive under Disk drives, right-click it, and select Update driver.

If updating doesn’t work, try uninstalling the driver and then restarting your computer to reinstall it automatically.

    1. In Disk Management, right-click your USB drive and select Change Drive Letter and Paths. Click Change, choose a new drive letter, and click OK.

4 Sometimes, the issue might be with the USB port or the computer itself. Try connecting your USB drive to a different port or another computer.

    1. Inspect your USB drive for any physical damage. If it’s damaged, it might need professional repair or replacement.

    Have a nice day.

    Best Regards,

    Molly
