Hi @Sheik Mohamed Yasar ,
Since Azure Media Services (AMS) was retired on June 30, 2024
, Microsoft may have automatically deleted AMS instances as part of the service deprecation. To confirm whether your instance was deleted for this reason, follow these steps:
Check Activity Logs in Azure Monitor:
Azure logs all deletions, and if the deletion was recent (within the past 90 days
), you can find it in the
Activity Logs:
- Go to the Azure Portal -> Monitor -> Activity Log ->select your
Subscription
-> set Resource type toMicrosoft.Media/mediaservices
, Event Category toAdministrative
, Operation Name toDelete Media Services Account
If you find a deletion event, check the "Initiated By" field,
- If the deletion was triggered by
Microsoft (system)
and not by a user, it was likely due to theservice deprecation
.
Hope this helps.
