Close the "desktopextension" Process:

Task Manager:

Right-click on the Taskbar and select "Task Manager."

In the "Processes" tab, search for "desktopextension.exe."

Right-click on it and select "End Task."

Hi Anubhav

Sorry, but if it was that easy we would have never questioned about the same in this forum.

The problem here is there is no process with the name desktopextension.exe which I can see in task manager. Hence not able to kill the process.

Hi Nikhil, Anubhav is actually right. the issue is in task manager under “myHP” Just close the desktopextension task and then close task manager and retest the simulation.

casting protocol connection listener I tried Closing all the apps and even ended the tasks through task manager
