Screen-recorded video with Powerpoint has no audio even though audio button is turned on.

Question

I used Office 365 Powerpoint screen recording feature to screen record my online lectures, only intent is so that I can refer back to the lecture at my own pace. I connected my bluetooth earpiece to my laptop and listened to my lecture with my bluetooth earpiece, to minimize being distracted by background noises in my house. I had screen recorded my lecture before without connecting my bluetooth earpiece to my laptop, and the audio was recorded in the screen recorded video. However, when I connected my bluetooth earpiece to my laptop, powerpoint failed to record the audio which was projected via my bluetooth earpiece. I had turned on the record audio feature. I do not get why audio was not recorded, or is it powerpoint cannot record audio that is played through earpiece? would appreciate any help I can get to revive the audio in my screen-recorded video as it is very important to me.
