internet connects, then slows/ stops working but still says connected?

hello, my PC has been dropping the wifi connection almost constantly. i will connect to my home internet, it will work for ~5minutes, then stop working while still looking like I'm connected (based on the bottom right screen wifi symbol). My wifi is fine- newer, works on all the other devices in the house. I have turned the "allow computer to turn off device to save power" option for the wifi driver off, checked for updates, did 2 network resets and ran this:
netsh int ip reset
netsh winsock reset
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
on command prompt with it set to run as administrator. My PC is new as of 2025 and kept in good condition, up to date on windows updates.

Could it be that you sit too far away from the nearest Access Point or Router or there is a wall between you and the AP/Router? And/or there are too many devices connected to the network could be a factor.
