Azure Application Insights alert won't sent e-mail to teams channel

Within Application Insights I have setup a Alert. This alert will be used to receive notification in a teams channel within Microsoft Teams. Therefore I have created multiple Action groups.

  1. Action group that sends an email to teams channel 'Alerting - PRD'
  2. Action group that sends an email to teams channel 'Alerting - ACC'
  3. Action group that sends an email to teams channel 'Alerting - TST'

Now there is this strange thing. When I link the alert to 'Alerting - PRD' I receive an e-mail within the teams channel. However when I link the same alert to 'Alerting - ACC' or 'Alerting - TST' I don't receive any e-mail within the teams channel.

I cannot understand why this wont work as the alert and action groups are identical except for the names. Also, there is no supression rule active and the e-mail adresses are valid.

Lastly, when testing the Action groups Application Insights says the test mail was send successfully, though I don't receive the test e-mail for the ACC en TST Action group.

Can someone help me understand why this is happening?

I suspect the working alert rule was created a long time ago and your recent alert rules are probably using the teams channel/group email address to set-up notifications. You must know that msteams channel/group can restrict on who can send email to it. Have you looked into moderation settings? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/change-moderator-roles-and-settings-in-a-channel-in-microsoft-teams-6ac54758-3440-4f6a-9bd5-cebf97cb7ea6

Additionally, have you tried sending an email to this email address from your inbox, does that work?
