The 404 - Resource Not Found error occurred

while creating a web app, it usually means the Azure portal or CLI couldn't find or access the resource during creation. The possible reasons are,

App Service Plan Issues – The selected App Service Plan may be deleted or unavailable in the chosen region, preventing the creation of the web app.

Go to Azure Portal -> App Service Plans, check if the plan exists, or create a new one before retrying.

Insufficient Permissions – If the user lacks proper role-based access control (RBAC) permissions, the web app creation may fail. Make sure you have Contributor or Owner permissions on the subscription and resource group.

Azure Subscription Issues – If the subscription is disabled, expired, or has reached resource limits, web app creation will fail.

Go to Azure Portal -> Subscriptions, check the status, and ensure its active with enough quota available.

Region Not Available – Some Azure regions may not support the selected resource type, or there may be temporary service disruptions. Try selecting different region and create the resource.
