As the VPN was working on another device but not on a particular one, remove the VPN connection and manually fill the details instead of exporting the xml file, as shown below.
If you are still facing the issue, you can follow the steps below.
- Try resetting an Azure VPN gateway . You can follow the documentation here for more details.
- Uninstall the WAN Miniport by navigating to This PC > and selecting "Manage" > Computer Management > click "Device Manager" > Under Network Adapters, uninstall all adapters starting with "WAN Miniport" - Right-click, Uninstall, Once you've uninstalled all the adapters, "Scan for Hardware Changes," and those adapters will reinstall automatically without restarting.
After doing the above settings, try connecting to the VPN from the affected machine.
- Also, check if any policy from Intune is blocking the app from connecting to the Azure server.
- If the above steps are not helpful, you can enable VPN Diagnostic Logs and check the logs at P2SDiagnosticLog which can help you determine the cause of the VPN connection issue.
