Hi,

I discovered 'tenantCategory' field in Azure REST API but I can't find any description about them.

What does mean every category?

What do the categories depend on?

Hello Aleksandr Tsaregorodtsev, the tenantCategory field in the REST API is used to categorize tenants.

    • Home - This category represents the primary tenant where the user is originally registered. It is the main tenant for the user's account.
    • ManagedBy - This category indicates that the tenant is managed by another entity. It is typically used for tenants that are under the management of a different organization or service provider.
    • ProjectedBy - This category is used for tenants that are projected by another tenant. It often involves scenarios where resources or services are extended from one tenant to another
