Hi there

Just hoping to please confirm my understanding of Document Intelligence Containers and their pricing.

Is it correct that:

  • Connected Containers
    • Will only send usage metrics back to Azure, where analysed documents remain on-prem
    • Is only available via a minimum 20k page per month commitment tier
    • Custom models can be trained then ported down to the container and run locally, only using v3.0
  • Disconnected Containers
    • Completely offline
    • Is only available via a minimum 100k page per month commitment tier, at a minimum 1 year commitment
    • Custom models can be trained then ported down to the container and run locally, only using v3.0

Thank you in advance for any help!

Connected Containers for Document Intelligence do indeed send usage metrics back to Azure while keeping analyzed documents on-premises. However, the minimum commitment tier for Connected Containers is not specified in the provided context. It is mentioned that disconnected containers require a minimum of 100k pages per month and a minimum one-year commitment. Both connected and disconnected containers allow for custom models to be trained and then ported down to the container to run locally, but the context does not specify that this is limited to version 3.0.

Here’s a summary of your points based on the context:

    • Connected Containers
      • Send usage metrics back to Azure, while analyzed documents remain on-premises.
      • Minimum commitment tier is not specified in the context.
      • Custom models can be trained and ported down to the container.
    • Disconnected Containers
      • Operate completely offline.
      • Require a minimum of 100k pages per month and a minimum one-year commitment.
      • Custom models can be trained and ported down to the container.
