Copilot GCC - does it get better?

My organization just purchased a few licenses of Copilot GCC to test it out, and our day 1 impressions are very poor. So far, Copilot gives a ton of misinformation, goes off on tangents that have nothing to do with the user's prompts, and links completely irrelevant resources. It also frequently just gives up, saying the user needs to start a new chat to continue.

My question is, does Copilot learn from the user interactions themselves? For example, if I prefer short and concise responses, will my Copilot start to cater to that preference as I use it without me having to ask for that? Or will I have to specify every time that I want short and concise responses? If so, and Copilot can improve directly from use, then I can see this being a product that eventually becomes suited for our organization. But at the moment, Copilot is far outclassed by other products.

AFAIK, Copilot (including Copilot for GCC) does not currently learn from individual user interactions in a persistent way. Each conversation starts fresh, meaning it does not adapt to personal preferences over time unless explicitly configured through settings (if available) or prompted each time. This means that if you prefer short and concise responses, you will likely need to specify that regularly.

That being said, Microsoft continuously updates Copilot's models and tuning, and feedback from users can help improve the overall product experience over time. However, this improvement happens at a broader level rather than being tailored to individual users automatically.

Given your initial impressions, it might be worth checking if Copilot GCC is running with any specific organizational policies or restrictions that could impact its performance. Also, experimenting with different prompting techniques might help achieve better responses. If Copilot’s adaptability is a key factor for your organization, you might want to explore AI solutions with more customizable and fine-tuned learning capabilities.
