Hello there!

I have a question about the Document Intelligence pricing and I was hoping you could help.

I can see that the pricing for using pre-built models, such as the ID model for extracting key-value pairs from an ID document, is $10 per 1000 pages. However, I was wondering how the Query Fields add-on feature is priced exactly. I can see that it is also $10 per 1000 pages, but it is not clear what is included in this price. For example, if I needed three more fields from the document that are by default not extracted by the pre-built model, say for example, "IssuingAuthority", "MothersName" and "NameAtBirth" extracted, would this cost an additional 3 * $10 = $30 per 1000 pages?

Basically what I'm wondering is if the $10 per 1000 pages is for a single extra queried field or if it includes multiple ones?

Thank you for your help!

    Hello Zsombor

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Forum! Thank you for posting your query here.

The Query Fields add-on in Azure Document Intelligence is priced at $10 per 1,000 pages. This fee covers the use of the Query Fields feature, regardless of the number of additional fields you specify. Therefore, whether you extract one extra field or multiple fields such as "IssuingAuthority," "MothersName," and "NameAtBirth," the cost remains $10 per 1,000 pages. This pricing model allows for flexibility in extracting multiple custom fields without incurring additional costs per field.

For more detailed information, please refer to the official Microsoft documentation on Add-on capabilities in Document Intelligence.

    I hope this is helpful!
