Hello,
- Check Activity Log and Resource Health
Navigate to the VM’s Activity Log and check for any errors or warnings related to the VM or disk operations.
Check the Resource Health to ensure the VM and its associated resources are in a healthy state.
- Use Serial Console (if available)
Enable and connect to the Serial Console of the VM.
Review the boot messages to identify any errors or issues during the startup process. For example:
“Boot failed” or “No bootable device found.”
Errors related to disk configuration or bootloader.
3.Verify Disk Configuration
Ensure the OS disk is correctly attached to the VM in the Azure Portal:
Go to the VM’s Disks section.
Verify that the OS disk is listed and configured correctly.
If you swapped the disks manually, ensure that the ostype and caching settings are correctly configured for the OS disk.
Best Regards,
Hania Lian
