Command bar module exercise issue

I am on the customize the command bar module exercise and the follow up button is not creating a new related task/activity. I copied all the steps from adding the data in the component library for tasks, saved and published, added the function code copy pasted. Saved and published.. I clicked play and the notification piece of the function works('New Task Created' notification shows up) but there is not new task being created.

Same experience here; notification displays but no task is created. It is the 'Task - Add button action' exercise in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/training/modules/command-bar-customize/exercise
