My organization has been testing Copilot for the last six months using the paid 365 version to integrate into office apps and our network. We love the integration but feel Copilot is not very smart. I find myself using ChatGPT all the time instead because it is so much better at everything. A few days ago, I learned Microsoft connected OpenAI version o4 with a "Think Deeper" button Copilot app or web interface. I've patiently waited a few days and tried logging out and back in but the option doesn't show up to test. We are very close to ditching Copilot for ChatGPT but this new option help if it would show up. Why doesn't it show as an option for our organization? Is there something preventing it?
Update 2/5/2025: I still don't see this capability in my paid Copilot for Office 365 licensed account for work, but it does show up when I login with my free personal Microsoft login to Copilot. I just don't understand Microsoft making this advanced functionality only available to free, personal accounts and not our paid Copilot license??? Very frustrating.

2025-02-05T18:46:33.36+00:00 I logged into Copilot using my personal Microsoft account and the think deeper option was there and worked. So to summarize, Microsoft is enabling and providing the more advanced ChatGPT capabilities to the personal free copilot accounts and NOT to paid educational 365 Copilot licensed accounts! Nice job Microsoft!

2025-02-06T00:03:24.7966667+00:00 I tried completely closing after logout, force close of edge browser and didn't fix problem on my computer or phone. I also tried full reboot of my computer with no luck. The problem seems to be the paid copilot for office 365 isn't providing this option. I can login to my person account and it shows up.

Kevin Guyer 5 Reputation points2025-02-06T13:23:05.78+00:00 I'm having the same issue with our business instance of Copilot. Is this working for anyone with a paid 365 business account? I can't find information regarding this possibly being a staged rollout that may not have reached us yet, or just not happening for business instances. This is creating real difficulties with our instructing users to only use our business Copilot when their personal one is now more effective.
